About the event
The event will be a book signing and reading for my new book, Shop Cats of Yellow Springs, in collaboration with the Greene County Humane Society.
The program will include a short reading from the book, stories about some of Yellow Springs' beloved shop cats, and a conversation about the important role cats play in our community. The Humane Society will share information about responsible pet ownership, spaying and neutering, and ways people can support local animal welfare.
I'll have books available for purchase and signing, and we're hoping attendees will also be encouraged to bring donations of cat food, litter, toys, or other much-needed supplies for the Humane Society.
The event is intended to be warm, informal, and family-friendly – celebrating our local businesses, our community, and the animals that have become part of its story. Sunday afternoon with the joy of words.
