Longtime Yellow Springs resident and local painting contractor, Ransome Phelps brings a craftsman’s eye for detail and a storyteller’s vision to his artistic photography. Through his prints, Phelps invites viewers to see the world as he experiences it, an interplay of light, texture, and fleeting moments captured in time.

"This body of work represents the departures that I made away from my usual landscape painting and Regionalist imagery. Many of the paintings from this group contain appropriated elements from cultural and Art Historical sources.
