About the Artist Rachel Hall is an oil painter, draftsman, and photographer based out of Yellow Springs, OH. She graduated with her BFA in Painting + Drawing from Ohio University in Athens, OH in 2023. She received her Associate of Art in Painting + Drawing in 2020 from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, OH.

About the Exhibit My work is inspired by life in its many forms: plants, animals, and nature as an interconnected force. My work is intuitive – I feel as if the painting already exists before I make it. I just need to quiet myself and listen to pull it into existence. Breathing in, I meditate on the shapes and colors around me. Breathing out, I greet those shapes and colors on the canvas. Everything is useful, everything is beautiful.
